Pick and Pack is a critical step in the order fulfilment process.  First, all items in a customer’s order are collected (picked) from their storage locations.  Next, the items are put in appropriate packaging (packed), ready to be shipped to the customer.

Efficient Warehousing

We specialise in ecommerce order fulfilment for fast-moving consumer brands.  That is why our storage locations are designed for efficient picking and packing.

To ensure orders are shipped as quickly as possible, inventory is mainly held in pick storage.  3PL central then guides pickers around the warehouse, automatically calculating the most efficient route.

Our order management technology also uses a combination of weight, visual and barcode checks to help the team pick and pack orders accurately and maintain a low error rate.

Packing solutions tailored to you

Depending on the size of your products and orders, we offer a range of recycled and recyclable packaging materials as standard.  This includes void fill, mailing bags,  book wraps and boxes.

Packing slips and shipping labels are customised with your brand’s logo and business details.  This means that your customer will never know that a third-party is handling your pick, pack and dispatch.

We also provide you with the option to use fully branded, customised packaging.

Online order tracking

When we receive an order from your online sore, we send order progress emails to your customers using 3PL Central.  These are fully customisable with your logo.  Your customer can track their order’s progress in real time, knowing exactly when their order has been picked and packed, labelled and shipped.
